This was an exploration of designing a product that could be manufactured in modules in a series of repeatable, automateable steps. In other words: it must be able to come off an assemblyline.

I thought replicating the natural form of a succulent through simple, repeatable manufacturing processes would make for a unique juxtaposition, and that's what this form ended up being.

The fabrication process would involve metal stamping, roll bending, pick & place, and screwing.
